Elizabeth Gilbert

Elizabeth Gilbert is the author of the internationally celebrated memoir Eat, Pray, Love. She is also the author of the short-story collection Pilgrims, a New York Times Most Notable Book and a finalist for the PEN-Hemingway Award, the novel Stern Men, and the nonfiction book The Last American Man, which was nominated for both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her first article for GQ, “The Muse of the Coyote Ugly Saloon,” was the basis for the 2000 motion picture Coyote Ugly.
