Amy Bloom

Amy Bloom is the author of two novels, two collections of short stories, and is a nominee for both the National Book Award and the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her most recent work is the novel Away, and her first book of nonfiction, Normal: Transsexual CEOs, Crossdressing Cops, and Hermaphrodites with Attitude, is an exploration of the varieties of gender. She lives in Connecticut and teaches at Yale University.

Susan Choi

Susan Choi is the author of the novels, The Foreign Student and American Woman, a finalist for the 2004 Pulitzer Prize and for the New York Public Library’s Young Lions Fiction Award. She also co-edited Wonderful Town: New York Stories from The New Yorker, an anthology of New Yorker fiction, with David Remnick. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her family.
