Writer in Residence, Ida B. Wells Middle School

Caroline Anna Bock is the author of Carry Her Home, LIE, and Before My Eyes and the co-editor of the anthology This Is What America Looks Like: Poetry and Fiction from DC, Maryland, and Virginia. Her stories have been widely published in literary magazines including Writer Magazine, Gargoyle, SmokeLong Quarterly, Writers Resist, and several anthologies. Bock earned an MFA in Fiction from The City College of New York. Prior to her writing career, she spent twenty years as a cable executive working in marketing and public relations for USA, AMC, BRAVO and IFC.
