Jung Yun (she/her) is a Baltimore-based author and an associate professor of English at the George Washington University. Her debut novel, SHELTER, was long-listed for the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize and a finalist for the Barnes and Noble Discover Great New Writers Award. Her most recent novel, O BEAUTIFUL, was a New York Times Editor’s Pick and one of The San Francisco Chronicle’s Best Books of 2021. Jung is a graduate of Vassar College, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and her writing has appeared in Tin House, The Massachusetts Review, The Indiana Review, The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Washington Post, and The Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications.
