Johanna Copeland is the author of Our Kind of Game, Harper 2024. This “rager of a psychological thriller,” (New York Times) was also featured on NPR’s All Things Considered and chosen as a Bookish book club pick and lead title for Spain’s International Women’s Day. Johanna has published essays in the Washington Post, Electric Literature, Stonecoast Review, Literary Mama and xoJane. She holds honors degrees from Oregon State University and Gonzaga University School of Law, where she was an editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. She is a native Oregonian, who left the Pacific Northwest first for Paris, then New York where she practiced corporate law. Johanna currently resides in Washington, DC and is working on her next two novels.
