Elizabeth Shreve is a leading public relations strategist with over thirty years expertise working at the intersection of authors, ideas, and media. As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shreve Williams Public Relations, her efforts support publishers, authors, and literary ventures to shape narratives, drive conversations, and penetrate heady news cycles. Over the course of her career, Shreve has led campaigns for prize winning novelists and memoirists, and some of the book industry’s most incisive thinkers. Some of her firm’s many notable authors include Pulitzer Prize-winners Carl Bernstein, Rick Atkinson, and Ron Chernow; bestsellers Walter Isaacson, Claudia Rankine, Naomi Klein, Jake Tapper, and Deepak Chopra; and dignitaries Henry Kissinger and Kofi Annan. Additionally, Shreve Williams has represented several literary publications and prizes including Granta, the New York Review of Books, the Paris Review, Liberties Journal, The Kirkus Prize, the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards, and the National Book Critics Circle Awards. 

Shreve is the former Vice President, Director of Publicity, for Henry Holt & Company in New York, and prior to that she held positions at Farrar, Straus & Giroux, Knopf Vintage, Dutton, and Counterpoint Press.  

She lives and works in Washington, D.C.
