Literary Garden Party

This delightful DC literary gathering will be held on September 30, 2023, from 3-5 pm.

When was the last time you had a chance to hang out with literary DC? Don’t miss this once-a-year opportunity! Come mix and mingle with 200 writers and readers on the Hill Center’s lovely lawn while enjoying complimentary beer, wine, soft drinks and a sumptuous grazing table. It’s the perfect way to enjoy an early fall day.

The party will kick off with a few inspiring words from Angie Kim, Matthew Klam, and Mecca Jamilah Sullivan. Additional guest authors will include Elliot Ackerman, Louis Bayard, Susan Keselenko Coll, Tope Folarin, Paul Goldberg, Donna Hemans, Linda Holmes, Tania James, Jamila Minnicks, Bethanne Patrick, and Jung Yun: a Who’s Who of writers to hang out with! Oh, and our lead bookstore sponsor, Loyalty Books, will be on hand to sell copies of our Featured Authors’ and Guest Authors’ books.
