The Lit Show

We’re delighted to announce The Lit Show, a new talk show-style event celebrating DC’s vibrant literary community hosted by PEN/Faulkner and the Inner Loop. For this year’s star-studded premiere, we’re inviting each of our featured authors—Susan Coll, Nick Rees Gardner, Varun Gauri, Timothy Janovsky, and Angie Kim—to read an excerpt from their latest book and then sit down for a short, fun interview about their reading and writing life. Afterwards, audience members can mingle with authors and book lovers at an informal reception with a cash bar, and East City Bookshop will be selling each featured title. Expect fun and games, good conversation, and a great literary time!
