Katherine Boone (she/her) is the Co-Founder and Editorial Director of Honored, a nonprofit organization dedicated to recognizing and rewarding great teachers across the country. She serves as a director at the Boone Family Foundation, a Dallas, TX-based foundation that focuses on improving children’s quality of life through education, advancing equity for women and girls, and promoting environmental stewardship. Previously, Katherine has served on the boards of DC Prep, Teach for America DC, and Reading Partners DC. She graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in History and received a master’s degree with honors in American History from the University of Texas at Austin. Katherine lives in Washington, DC with her husband and three children.
